Durante las fiestas más emblemáticas de Mallorca, las calles se colman de dragones, demonios y bestias gigantes que acompañan con danzas ancestrales y fuegos artificiales un homenaje a los santos patronos de la cultura.

Arraigadas en la identidad de todo un pueblo, estas festividades encuentran su origen en la sociedad agrícola balear, cuando los habitantes encomendaban sus plegarias a figuras míticas para proteger sus campos. Los Demonios de Mallorca llevan alegría a los hogares ofreciendo fantásticos espectáculos de máscaras demoníacas y grandes hogueras en las plazas, en honor a Sant Antoni los 17 de enero, a Sant Joan los 23 de junio, a Sant Jaume los 24 y 25 de julio, y a Sant Bartomeu los 23 y 24 de agosto de cada año.

Während den symbolischen Feierlichkeiten von Mallorca sind die Straßen mit Drachen, Dämonen und riesigen Bestien gefüllt, die mit alten traditionellen Tänzen und begleitet von Feuerwerk die Schutzheiligen huldigen.

Mit der Identität einer ganzen Stadt verwurzelt, finden diese Feierlichkeiten ihren Ursprung in der balearischen Landwirtschaft, als die Bewohner ihre Gebete an mythische Figuren richteten, um ihre Felder zu schützen. Die Dämonen von Mallorca bringen Freude in die Häuser, indem sie jedes Jahr am 17. Januar Sant Antoni, am 23. Juni Sant Joan, am 24. und 25. Juli Sant Jaume und am 23. und 24.
